Codam, the leading, high-quality software engineering school, announces the appointment of Maarten Naaijkens as its new Managing Director. This strategic appointment represents a major step forward in Codam’s mission to educate as many students as possible to become skilled software engineers.
There is currently an estimated shortage of 55,000 IT professionals in the Netherlands, and the demand for well-trained software developers is growing rapidly. The traditional education system is unable to keep up with this increasing demand. Too few people are trained for jobs in the tech industry, while there is a vast pool of untapped talent. Codam plays a pivotal role in addressing this issue through its unique and accessible education model, which effectively trains a diverse group of students at scale.
